Can I enroll my used vehicle(s) in Wrench TotalCare, or Wrench TotalCare+?
Yes, Wrench TotalCare & TotalCare+, were designed specifically for used cars.
When does my coverage start?
➢ Discounted Services - are available immediately to use after proper enrollment.
➢ Repair Coverages - are available immediately after your vehicle inspection.
➢ Scheduled Maintenance - is available after a 60 day waiting period after the purchase date.
Example: Oil changes/tire rotations.
When can I start using my Wrench TotalCare & TotalCare+ discounts?
Discounted services are available immediately after you've completed enrollment.
Does Wrench TotalCare & TotalCare+ pay for parts?
Yes — Wrench TotalCare+ covers 80% of both parts and labor for approved repairs on inspected components.
You’re only responsible for the remaining 20% co-pay.
Coverage limits apply: $2,000/year for powertrain and $750/year for non-powertrain repairs.
Coverage applies only to components that passed inspection and meet the plan terms.
Can I transfer my plan or what if I sell my vehicle?
Yes — the plan is transferable once to a new owner, or to your new vehicle, for a $50 fee, if benefits haven’t been fully used.
What if there are no mobile mechanics near me?
Wrench has a nationwide network of 10,000 mechanics available in most of the United States. If you can't find a mobile mechanic in your area, we'll help you schedule a visit with our partners including Firestone® Automotive.
NOTE: If we cannot service your area, you are eligible for a full refund, even outside the 30-day window.
Can I cancel my membership & is there a fee?
Yes — cancel within 30 days for a full refund if no services have been used. A $50 admin fee applies. After 30 days, plans are non-refundable.
How do I schedule a service or file a claim?
Service: Book directly via wrenchtc.com or the TotalCare mobile app. We’ll send a certified technician to your location.
Claims: You can submit a claim by emailing us at hello@wrenchtc.com or calling (833) 267-5309 Ext. 4 Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM CST.
➢ Get prior approval: All repairs must be approved by Wrench before work begins. Have your repair shop call (833) 267-5309 Ext. 4 to get a claim ID number.
➢ Emergency repairs: If they happen after hours, report them the next business day. Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM CST call (833) 267-5309 Ext. 4
Can my account be terminated?
Yes — your Wrench TotalCare & TotalCare+ account may be terminated if you violate the terms of service.
This includes:
- Making unauthorized payments directly to mechanics.
- Submitting false claims or documents Abusing services or coverage.
- Violating any part of the agreementWe’ll always try to resolve issues first, but repeated or serious violations may result in account termination without refund.

Pre-existing conditions, wear-and-tear items, cosmetic damage, commercial vehicles, or anything not inspected and approved.
